Alas, this is one day late…HOW DARE I?! đ My birthday is in a few days and I’m so ready to have a book-buying spree. SO. READY. It really doesn’t take much for me to be happy. đ My birthday celebrations are pretty low-key; just a small meal with the family and CAKE! (Can’t have a birthday without cake!! đđâ€ïž)
This month’s releases isn’t too bad when it comes releases but it could always be better. My TBR had no trouble increasing though, so there’s that. Why can’t books release all at the same time?? Actually, that is a horrible idea. I would be bankrupt in minutes, and I would literally be drowning in books because I need time to process and mourn before starting another book.
Anywho, these are my Most Anticipated for November!

Before midnight, shocking revelations are made, industry tongues are wagging, and the poor mistletoe is ready to pass out from overuse.
I’M OBSESSED WITH THE STARCROSSED SERIES BY LEISA RAYVEN. đ
I look for every single scrap of extra scenes or more book news. ANYTHING. So when this showed up on my Upcoming Releases, I had to put it on the list. Rayven writes amazing, heart-tugging stories. It’s a bonus that the first two books are (kinda, sorta, not really) inspired by Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare. It’s so good. I recommend reading Rayven’s first three novels before reading this!

Unnatural Deeds
By Cyn Balog
RELEASE DATE: NOVEMBER 1ST
Secrets. Obsession. Murder. Victoria is about to discover just how dangerous it can be to lose yourself.
Victoria Zell doesnât fit in, but sheâs okay with that. All she needs is the company of her equally oddball boyfriend, Andrew. She doesnât care what anyone else thinksâŠuntil magnetic, charming, mysterious Z comes into her life, and she starts lying to everyone she knows in an effort to unravel his secrets.
And then something terrible happens. Someone is dead and itâs time for Victoria to come clean. Interspersed with news clippings and police interviews, Victoria tells her story to Andrew, revealing her dark, horrible secretsâŠsecrets that have finally come back to haunt her.
I haven’t had a thriller/mystery novel to eat up in a while, and I think this is the perfect book to break this awful hiatus. I definitely have a sweet spot for mysteries, and solving murders. I adore that stuff!!
Side note: Isn’t that cover the most ominous, suspenseful beauty ever?!? The scissors make it so sinister! *squee*

Heartless
By Marissa Meyer
RELEASE DATE: NOVEMBER 8TH
Long before she was the terror of Wonderland â the infamous Queen of Hearts â she was just a girl who wanted to fall in love.
Catherine may be one of the most desired girls in Wonderland, and a favorite of the yet-unmarried King of Hearts, but her interests lie elsewhere. A talented baker, all she wants is to open a shop with her best friend and supply the Kingdom of Hearts with delectable pastries and confections. But according to her mother, such a goal is unthinkable for the young woman who could be the next Queen.
At a royal ball where Cath is expected to receive the king’s marriage proposal, she meets Jest, the handsome and mysterious court joker. For the first time, she feels the pull of true attraction. At the risk of offending the King and infuriating her parents, she and Jest enter into an intense, secret courtship.
Cath is determined to define her own destiny and fall in love on her terms. But in a land thriving with magic, madness, and monsters, fate has other plans.
After the conclusion of Meyer’s The Lunar Chronicles, I’ve been waiting anxiously for her next release!! And looky here!! A very interesting, very highly anticipated novel inspired by the “heartless” Queen of Hearts! (see what I did there? đ) I’m really excited to see what Marissa Meyer will bring to the table, and all the best to her writing career because I’m already looking forward to her upcoming works. đ

The Sun Is Also a Star
By Nicole Yoon
RELEASE DATE: NOVEMBER 1ST
Natasha: Iâm a girl who believes in science and facts. Not fate. Not destiny. Or dreams that will never come true. Iâm definitely not the kind of girl who meets a cute boy on a crowded New York City street and falls in love with him. Not when my family is twelve hours away from being deported to Jamaica. Falling in love with him wonât be my story.
Daniel: Iâve always been the good son, the good student, living up to my parentsâ high expectations. Never the poet. Or the dreamer. But when I see her, I forget about all that. Something about Natasha makes me think that fate has something much more extraordinary in storeâfor both of us.
The Universe: Every moment in our lives has brought us to this single moment. A million futures lie before us. Which one will come true?
A good friend of mine sent a picture of the prologue and I got immediately intrigued by it. From that little glimpse, I could already tell Yoon’s writing is poignant and luring. So shout out to her (you know who you are) for showing me this promising novel. The story sounds so endearing, and full of potential for a wonderful YA Contemporary Romance novel.

Bad Blood (The Naturals #4)
By Jennifer Lynn Barnes

As Cassie and the team work to uncover the secrets of a group that has been killing in secret for generations, they find themselves racing a ticking clock.
New victims. New betrayals. New secrets.
When the bodies begin piling up, it soon becomes apparent that this time, the Naturals aren’t just hunting serial killers.
I’VE BEEN WAITINGÂ SO LONG FOR THIS BOOK TO COME OUT, YOU HAVE NO IDEA.
These books are soooo goood. Remember how I said that Unnatural Deeds by Cyn Balog might be the one to break the ongoing mystery book hiatus?? Yea, if I can get this book first, this one will be doing that instead. OHMYGOD, I’M SO EXCITED. I’ve been wanting to get back in this world for the longest time!!!! đ±đ±đ±

I’m interested in reading 2 & 3 also (and too lazy to type out the actual titles, it seems). I’m hoping 2 is good! I’ve heard mixed things. I’d really like to start Bad Romeo too. I’ve heard good things and it’s been on my TBR since it released! Need to get around to it. Happy birthday for whatever date it is đ

Iâm hoping 2 is good as well! Youâre right about the mixed reviews but the moment I see anything negative I immediately turn away. Iâve actually been avoiding reviews all together after seeing such a mix of critiques. YOU MUST READ BAD ROMEO. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. GOOOOO!!
And thank you so much!! It was the 5th, and I had a great day!! âșïžđ

That’s okay. Wasn’t that long. Good plan. Sometimes I get addicted to reading negative reviews. I try and only read them now for books ill never read. I like to see why people didn’t like it. Usually on hyped books. Haha, ill get right on that!
Awesome! Did you get anything nice for your birthday? đ

I can definitely see the appeal to reading negative reviews. Once you read one, it’s like did someone else say the same thing? LETS GO FIND OUT!
I got books, candy and some money! đ âïžïž all a girl can ask forđ

So sorry on the delay of this response!
Yes! It is. Or, sometimes, I’m like whoa, negative review. I wonder why this person didn’t like it… and then I read the book to understand what they’re talking about. Haha. That does sound nice đ

My favourite “cold weather drink” is, and always will be, just a huge cup of tea. Not that I restrict myself to drinking it just in cold weather! I love tea all year round đ
