Reality has set in that this is the last month of books that are ever going to be released in 2016!! 😱😱 Wow.

There are not many books that I got my eye out for, HOWEVER, like the saying goes, it’s quality over quantity.

Let’s just say my December is going to be a colourful event. 😉

Let’s see what’s on my Most Anticipated this month!blogdivider

31327084Red Queen: The Official Colouring Book
By Victoria Aveyard, Yvonne Gilbert (Illustrator), Ryan Hamrick (Letterer)

RELEASE DATE: DECEMBER 20TH

The world of Red Queen comes to life in this stunningly illustrated coloring book companion to the #1 New York Times bestselling series by Victoria Aveyard. With both original black-and-white line drawings and beautiful hand-lettered quotes, this coloring book brings to life the high-stakes moments in Mare’s journey, which continues to thrill and captivate readers. Relive every adventure, from Mare’s first night as the little lightning girl to the royal betrayal that changed everything—and get ready to rise, Red as the Dawn.

I can’t wait to see the world of Red Queen in the author’s eyes. This colouring book is going to be dark and beautiful. Bring out the reds, blacks and golds because this colouring book is going to be absolutely fantastical.

This is the perfect interlude for the excruciating wait of King’s Cage, the third book in the Red Queen series.

OF COURSE I WANT THE SELECTION COLOURING BOOK!! I don’t think I’ll ever fall out of love with America and Maxon. I swoon every time I think about these books. Every time. THE PICTURES LOOK SO PRETTY AND BLEED THE ESSENCE OF THE SELECTION!!! I’m pumped for this colouring book!

blogdividerI love colouring. It’s so therapeutic which is a reason why colouring books have been on the rise this year. I also think colouring books are the perfect companion to YA titles. Why? Because we get to see our favourite characters and scenes from the books we love being illustrated!! It gives pictures to the words and although I have a badass TV screen in my head, nothing beats an author approved colouring book that represents the stories we love.
